Singer-songwriter and total chingon (badass), Scarypoolparty has announced his highly-anticipated sophomore album, The Act of Forgiveness, but this is a 21-track double album, available August 27th.
The 21-track double album — features twelve songs with Emmy Award and Tony Award-winning composer Rob Mathes’ orchestral arrangements, produced largely by Scarypoolparty and recorded in nine days at LA’s legendary Village Studios and Capitol Studios, the album was conceived amidst widespread uncertainty that forced Scarypoolparty — aka 26-year-old Alejandro Aranda — to strip everything back and figure out who he is.
“Friends” the album’s first single is now available to stream on all digital music streaming platforms including Apple Music.
This fall, Scarypoolparty joins X Ambassadors as direct support on their The Beautiful Liar tour, kicking off Oct. 15th at San Diego’s House of Blues. Tickets for The Beautiful Liar tour will go on sale this Friday, June 18th at 10am local time.
