Regional Mexican music star Codiciado earned two 2026 Premios Juventud nominations for songs featured on his latest album, Así Es La Vida: “No Voy a Cambiar” with Xavi, nominated for Best Mexican Music Collaboration, and “Déjame Dormir” with Carín León, which is nominated for Best Mexican Music Fusion.
The nominations recognize two of the leading collaborations from the artist’s second studio album, a 15-track project released on May 7. On “No Voy a Cambiar,” Codiciado and Xavi explore vulnerability, self-reflection, and taking responsibility after the end of a relationship. “Déjame Dormir,” meanwhile, brings him together with Carín León for a story about the deterioration of a bond that was once close but has become increasingly difficult to sustain.
The double nomination also arrives as Codiciado prepares to launch his ASÍ ES LA VIDA Tour, a nine-city run produced by Live Nation that will begin on August 28 at 713 Music Hall in Houston. The tour will continue through Irving, San Jose, Fresno, Wheatland, San Diego, Phoenix and Ontario before concluding on October 9 at the Rosemont Theatre in Illinois.
Premios Juventud 2026 will take place on Thursday, September 3, at the Auditorio Starlite in Marbella, Spain, and will air live on Univision, UNIMÁS, Galavisión and ViX.
