Regional Mexican music stars Clave Especial have been nominated for Premio Juventud 2026 in the Best Mexican Music Fusion category for “TU TU TU,” alongside Edgardo Nuñez.
Since its release, “TU TU TU” has become one of Clave Especial’s biggest hits, surpassing 329 million streams on Spotify and 16 million views on YouTube, further demonstrating the group’s strong connection with audiences and the growing reach of their music.
Hailing from Salinas, California, Clave Especial has emerged as one of the most distinctive acts in contemporary Mexican music, blending corridos with urban influences through a sound that continues to resonate with listeners. Their debut album, MIJA NO TE ASUSTES, reached No. 2 on Apple Music, earned Platinum certification in the United States, and has generated more than 3.2 billion global streams, including over 2.2 billion streams from the album alone.
