SWIMM Release New Single “Belly,” Announce ‘Beverly Hells EP’

SWIMM

Just ahead of their performance at Noisey LA’s “TOO FAR” series on August 11th, psych-pop duo SWIMM have released their new track titled “Belly” off their forthcoming Beverly Hells EP.

“Belly” is yet another shining example of the band’s ability to balance the ethereal and the temporal. With huge, sweeping guitars and reverby howls to accompany an arena-ready hook, “Belly” is a modern take on the early 90s indie rock heyday of The Pixies and Dinosaur Jr.

SWIMM will be playing a few key dates in their adopted hometown of Los Angeles this summer prior to properly kicking off their west coast run with Canadian noir-pop rock outfit Young Empires in September. The band will then make an appearance at CRSSD Festival in San Diego alongside The Flaming Lips, TV On The Radio and Big Data on October 10th before spending the next month weaving their way across the United States and Canada with Bright Light Social Hour.

With the band taking their explosive live show on a full national tour this fall and releasing the “Beverly Hells” EP this month it’s only a matter of time before they’re no longer JUST Los Angeles’ favorite Space Coast natives. Full dates below!
