Singer-songwriter, Virlán García returns to his northern roots with new corrido, “1982” featuring Diferente Nivel. García brings to light his storytelling in this new track accompanied by banda Sinaloense.
“1982” accompanies the sound and the stories from Sinaloa that Virlánhas put on the map especially his tribute to Sergio Vega ‘El Shaka’. The medley was performed live and premiered not long ago on the anniversary of the death of the legendary singer from Sinaloa.
The video for “1982“ was filmed live and tells the story of a famous drug lord from Guasave, Sinaloa where Virlán is originally from. The corrido is based on the many stories everyone grew up with including Diferente Nivel, who are also from Guasave. The song also represents the first collaboration between these two talented artists who are on the same record label since 2020.
