Bert McCracken, the legendary front man of Emo-Rock icons The Used, has officially teamed up with Five Star Extracts for an exclusive line of Cannabis products.

For a look into some of Bert’s history with cannabis and sobriety as well as his journey through the music industry, check out this video:

To kick things off with this partnership, Five Star is releasing a new version of their iconic Flavored Syrup Tincture, “The Taste of Peach”, exclusively with Connected locations throughout California. This product contains 800 mgs of THC in a water-soluble formula ensuring that consumers can maintain any level of healthy cannabis use during these times without having to smoke or vape.

Five Star was created by two brothers Eric and Jason Winkler in 2016 after seeing the positive effects cannabis played in helping their 94-year-old grandfather get off pain meds after a terrible fall. They watched him improve through cannabis and get back to his happy and loving self, enjoying his last years with family and not stuck in bed on pain meds.

Over the last few years, Five Star has been about unique and proven product expansion while building a strong team including partner Shawhin Maghbouleh and a group of Board Advisors that come from different backgrounds from cannabis industry experts, big-box retail executives to music managers, producers, and A&Rs in the music space, such as John Reese, Johnnie Hernandez, Jerry Edouard, Daniel Griesemer and Chris Ducar.

The Used are gearing up to release their 8th full length studio album, Heartwork, on April 24th via Big Noise.
