Soda Stereo Receives Gold and Platinum Records From Sony Music Latin

Legendary Argentine rock band Soda Stereo recently received RIAA-certified Gold and Platinum records for their sales achievements in the United States and Puerto Rico.

Presentation of the plaques took place on February 27 during the group’s concert at the FTX Arena in Miami. Soda Stereo accepted the awards from Afo, President & CEO of Sony Music Latin-Iberia. Members Charly Alberti (drums) and Zeta Bosio (bass) received the accolades, which will also be presented to the family of the group’s vocalist and guitarist Gustavo Cerati (1959-2014).

The award-winning records are: Sueño Stéreo (1995), the group’s last studio álbum, Gold; album Comfort y Música Para Volar – MTV Unplugged (1996) Platinum and Gold; El Último Concierto (1997) records A and B, Gold.
