Shiny Wet Machine Release Debut EP

Lights Out, the debut EP from Shiny Wet Machine, the punk-infused collaboration between Sizzy Rocket and Alex Fitts of The Kickdrums, has been released on Sizzy’s own Diet Punk Records.

Lights Out, which premiered with New Noise Magazine, is a five song collection that lives somewhere between 1970’s NYC punk, 90’s Riot Grrrl and modern alternative rock. It is a visceral introduction to the project that sees two artists who have made their name in other genres able to dig deep into the hard rock that is so intimately tied into their roots.

It is raw, honest and aggressive while still exhibiting the sort of production and hooks that will be stuck in your head for the rest of the spring and form the core of your summer soundtrack.

While both Sizzy and Alex will continue their other projects, there is no doubt that this won’t be a one-off project for them. With a second EP already in the works and plans for more tour dates later in the summer, Lights Out is only the tip of the iceberg for Shiny Wet Machine. Stay tuned for more announcements from the band and enjoy digging into this justifiably highly-anticipated debut EP!
