Gloria Molina Grand Park’s NYELA will ring in 2026 with an unforgettable experience for thousands of Angelenos and visitors in the heart of Downtown L.A. The West Coast’s largest free New Year’s Eve party will pay tribute to the resilience L.A. showed throughout 2025, celebrating the bravery of Angelenos who uplift their communities, defend their values and build a brighter future that reflects L.A.’s beauty, diversity and strength.
The five-hour, alcohol-free celebrationincludes a stellar roster of locally grown, globally known music artists and performers and an unrivaled lineup of talented DJs. From hip hop and house music to psychedelic rhythms, nearly every music and dance genre will be showcased on two stages at Gloria Molina Grand Park, powered by The Music Center, to uplift revelers’ spirits and bring them to their feet. The ultimate New Year’s Eve party will crescendo with the park’s signature countdown-to-midnight art show projected onto L.A.’s iconic City Hall.
With gates opening at 8:00 p.m., Gloria Molina Grand Park’s NYELA will encompass the park’s six city blocks. The Countdown Stage, hosted by DJ Gingee in the park’s Block 4 between Broadway and Spring Streets, will open with L.A.-based Latin Grammy®-nominated artist Ceci Bastida, former member of the iconic Mexican ska-punk band Tijuana NO. BARDO will follow Bastida with his soulful vocals that pulsate with raw energy and introspective lyrics, exploring themes of identity, cultural heritage and the human experience. Groundbreaking Filipina American rapper and spoken word artist Ruby Ibarra, who recently won NPR’s 2025 Tiny Desk Concert contest, will headline the Countdown Stage.
Detroit-born CLAX10 kicks off the night at the Get Down Stage presented by STARDUST with a genre-blending set rooted in the Black diaspora, weaving house, hip hop, Afrobeats, R&B and Latin influences into the bold, soulful grooves Angelenos love. The vibe builds with DJ and host Shaun Ross, followed by ASHLEY YOUNNIÄ, who brings her irresistible mix of gospel, R&B and electronic dance music for a sound that feels right at home. Capping the evening and leading L.A. into the countdown-to-midnight is the legendary Wayne Williams, whose four-decade career as DJ, record executive, A&R visionary and producer has shaped music scenes across the world and is now bringing that legacy to Los Angeles for an unforgettable New Year’s moment.
As a bonus attraction for the whole family, Gloria Molina Grand Park’s NYELA will feature interactive art installations, activities and a Community Block providing access to empowering and uplifting non-profit organizations and community resources, including East Wind Foundation, LA Commons, Mount of Angels and One Grain of Sand Puppet Theater. L.A.-based dance company and drum ensemble Bloco Obini will keep the party going all night long next to the Community Block.
