Tom Petty has died at the age of 66.
According to TMZ and various media outlets, Petty was found unconscious in his Malibu home, EMTs rushed to his home and were able to get a pulse. He was rushed to the UCLA Santa Monica Hospital and he was put on life support.
Petty showed no signs of brain activity and a decision was made to remove him from life support.
