Pitbull x Iggy Azalea Deliver a Feel Good Show at YouTube Theater in L.A.

Mr. 305 aka Pitbull made his return to L.A. on Wednesday, Sept. 22nd at the all-new YouTube Theater in Inglewood. The I Feel Good Tour made a stop at the all-new venue with special guest Iggy Azalea, and it was a non-stop party from start to finish.

First things first if you live in L.A. county or are planning to visit for a concert or event, venues are requiring you to show either a negative covid test within 72-hours of the show/event or show proof of vaccination. Arriving at the venue you must be wearing a face mask, even if you’re outside waiting to get in. Once inside, you can remove your face mask if you’re actively eating or drinking.

Back to the show, Spanish DJ Sak Noel best known for global hit “Loca People” opened the show with an unforgettable set. He played everything from EDM, to rock, Hip Hop, Pop, and even reggaeton. The SOLD-OUT crowd was still walking into the venue looking for their seat, but at the same time were dancing down the stair corridors.

Who dat, who dat? I-G-G-Y, the one, and only Iggy Azalea twerked her way onto the stage and delivered an unforgettable twerkaliscious set. She performed her biggest hits including “Black Widow,” “Fancy,” “Work,” “Kream” plus new music from her latest album The End of An Era including “I Am The Strip Club” and “Nights Like This.” She even shouted out the iconic Ms. Britney Spears before performing a bit of “Pretty Girls.”

The man of the night, Pitbull took the stage and not one single person sat down during his nearly two-hour set. He performed almost all of his discography including “Hotel Room Service,” “Echa pa’lla (manos pa’rriba),” “Fireball,” “Rain Over Me,” “International Love,” and even took us back to 2004 with his debut anthem “Culo.” With a showman like Pitbull, you don’t need special guests, but he did bring singer-songwriter Anthony Watts onto the stage to perform their hit collab “I Feel Good.”

There’s no denying that Pitbull brings the party no matter where he performs, but he’s also a really good motivational speaker. He took some time in between songs to speak to the crowd, he told them to forget the haters, pay no mind to the negative folks, they’re going to talk about you no matter what. I wouldn’t mind attending a TED Talk with Pitbull as a speaker, because he knows what to say, he speaks to your soul, he definitely has you feeling good at the end of the night. If you get the chance to see Pitbull live in concert or even meet him in person, do it, you won’t regret it.

I said it before, and I’ll say it again, YouTube Theater is a phenomenal venue for concerts. It may be a bit small, but it’s a good thing, it feels very intimate, definitely in our Top 3 of the best venues in L.A.
