Ozuna Receives Four Guinness World Records Titles

Puerto Rican singer and songwriter, Juan Carlos Ozuna, commonly known as Ozuna, has been awarded four Guinness World Records titles for his musical achievements.

Featured in Guinness World Records 2020, he has obtained the following records based on the triumph of his latest two albums:

  • Most weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart (male) – for Odisea, which logged 46 non-consecutive weeks at the from 16 September 2017 to 1 September 2018
  • Most Billboard Latin Music Award wins for a single artist in a single year – with 11 awards on 25 April 2019.
  • Most Billboard Latin Music Award nominations for a single artist in a single year – with 23 nominations on 12 February 2019.
  • Artist with the most videos to reach one billion views on YouTube:

In addition to his Guinness World Records titles, Ozuna stood out as the contemporary Latin composer of the year at the BMI Awards 2019 and topped the list of the 100 most influential people of 2019 in Time magazine.
