Mon Laferte surprises with premiere of “Chilango Blues” + ‘La Gira De Norma’ Tour kicks off soon

Surrounded by organic sounds, with a soft and powerful voice, Mon Laferte presents, “Chilango Blues”, a song with which she returns to rock and alternative sounds. The release is a surprise for her fans and marks the beginning a new musical stage.

In the midst of a blues ballad, Mon Laferte speaks of the lack of love and the pain of a love breakup, of spite and sadness.

The video of “Chilango Blues” was filmed in Los Angeles under the direction of Mon Laferte and Alfredo Altamirano, produced by Antonio Roma, costumes and art design where done by the singer-songwriter in collaboration with Daniel Cerrillo.

In the videoclip, which premiered July 5, you can see Mon walking in the streets of Los Angeles, California, representing the burden of carrying the memory of a person everywhere and the discomfort caused by his absence.

Soon, Mon will present more songs recorded in Mexico City and will continue with #LaGiraDeNorma during the rest of the year in Europe, the United States and Latin America.
