Regional Mexican star Lorenzo Méndez and Dominican star Ronny Mercedes team up for a cover of Silk Sonic’s global hit “Leave The Door Open.” The duo officially debuted the bachata-infused cover during Telemundo’s “Fiesta de Super Bowl” at Plaza Mexico in Lynwood, CA.
The music video was shot in the historic Ángela Peralta Theater in Sinaloa, Mexico.
Ronny Mercedes is the first artist to sign to Mendez’s record label, LM7. Mercedes is best known for being a member of the bachata group Voz a Voz, he was also a contestant during the 2019 season of La Voz USA, he was a member of Wisin’s team.
