Legendary Mexican pop icon Thalia and singer-songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist extraordinaire León Leiden have shared the video of their once-in-a-lifetime collaboration, “Florecita Rockera”, off the album Thalia’s Mixtape. The video also features music legends Aterciopelados.
Filmed in Central Park in New York, the video takes place on a pleasant sunny day, León and Thalia take everybody by surprise at the iconic New York park; dressed to the gills in flowers and spreading joy to every person they encounter. They also show clips from the now-classic Aterciopelados video for the original version of the song in a very creative manner.
Led by Leiden and a slew of collaborators, Thalia’s Mixtape is composed of her favorite tracks from the Golden Age of Latin American rock featuring collaborations with artists from that era as well as newer faces in today’s musical landscape.
