Director and 3D animation veteran, Julian Glander has set the voice cast for his film “Boys Go to Jupiter.”
The voice cast features standup comedian and star of Los Espookys Julio Torres, Jack Corbett, Elsie Fisher, Tavi Gevinson, Sarah Sherman,
Joe Pera, Grace Kuhlenschmidt, singer-songwriter Miya Folick, Cole Escola, Chris Fleming, River Ramirez, Eva Victor, and Max Wittert.
The film is described as a surreal animated coming-of-age story, it’ll be animated in Glander’s trademark 3D visual style and sonic palette.
The film’s official synopsis indicates the film is set in Florida the day after Christmas and centers on Billy 5000, an aimless teenager and delivery driver.
During a routine dropoff, Billy becomes the owner and caretaker of a mysterious egg that hatches a creature from another world. Suddenly, Billy has to make hard choices about life, love and money as part of a dreamy coming-of-age story with heart, humor and banger musical numbers.
