Multi-talented singer-songwriter from Mexico, Joss Favela, releases his new single “Yo Perdí,” the fourth preview track to be released from his upcoming album, Aclarando La Mente, which is set to be released September 9.
In this norteño ballad, Joss Favela once again shares his romantic experiences, telling the story of a toxic lover. The song was produced by Ricardo Orrantia and Joss Favela who also wrote the song. Throughout the meticulously arranged verses and carefully crafted chorus, Joss Favela sings about how that person took advantage of him, reflecting on how it made him feel and coming to the painful realization that he had to end the relationship because that person never truly loved him. The accordion, guitar, and drums coupled with Favela’s dynamic vocal performance work together seamlessly to create a norteño ballad seeping with emotion.
The release of “Yo Perdí” is accompanied by an official lyric video. Shot in black and white, the video was filmed in Favela’s home studio at his ranch in Sinaloa, adding an extra element of authenticity. The video offers a unique behind-the-scenes look at Favela and his musicians as they work together to create “Yo Perdí.”
