Jared Becker and Rebekah Kennedy Set to Star in Mind2Sight’s LGBTQI+ Dark Drama ‘Never Strangers’

Never Strangers, a new LGBTQI+ dark drama film starring Jared Becker (Reveille, Sorry For My Loss) and Rebekah Kennedy (Law & Order: SVU, Station 19, Criminal Minds), is set to begin filming later this fall. Elizabeth Singh (Sins in the Suburbs, Secrets on Campus) will bring the story to life in her full-length film directorial debut.

The film’s plot centers around Becker as Alex O’Neal, who is struggling with the loss of his husband after a tragic accident. In order to find the turning point in his life, Alex seeks out an unlikely friend in Rebekah Kennedy’s Kate. The movie delves into the struggle of survivor’s guilt and acute hallucinations while Alex embarks on a journey of rediscovering what life means to him with an unexpected new friendship.

Kennedy, no stranger to darker roles, will assist Alex on his journey to confront his demons while also fighting her own past.

The film is produced by Mind2Sight. Never Strangers was written by Becker and Singh. Matthew Golden joins the team as Executive Producer.
