Genre-bending composer, producer, singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Grabbitz, has signed with Hopeless Records and shares new single, “Pigs In The Sky.”
The track, written last year at the start of lockdown, displays the artist’s one-of-a-kind sound that effortlessly blends hip-hop, alternative rock and dance influences. Grabbitz, said this about “Pigs In The Sky”:
Remember last year when the whole world went into a lockdown and we all thought it was the end of days and everything you thought you knew was wrong? Me too. This song was written in the middle of that worldwide, collective ‘What the fuck?’
I hope anyone who hears it just grooves and can giggle at the message. Some of the subject matter is serious, but it’s all tied up with a nice light-hearted bow, so it’s not too hard to swallow.
Grabbitz, AKA Nick Chiari, is a musical shape-shifter. Since making his debut in 2014, he has transformed from an instrumental EDM producer to one of the most promising voices in pop and alternative rock.
