Apple Music announces the release of Fred again..’s Mexico City USB002 DJ set, available exclusively in Spatial Audio. Recorded on December 11, 2025, the set features a special appearance from Mexican trio LATIN MAFIA.
The Mexico City performance arrived at the close of Fred again..’s ten-week USB002 run, a series built around ten songs released across ten cities, with each stop taking on the energy and character of its location. In Mexico City, LATIN MAFIA joined Fred inside the booth for a performance that brought their worlds together in front of a hometown crowd.
That connection would become the foundation for Fred again.. and LATIN MAFIA’s collaborative mixtape 9 months & 50 hours, released earlier this summer after the artists invited fans into the process through a 50-hour livestream.
The Mexico City mix completes a trio of USB002 performances released by Apple Music, following sets recorded in Lyon and Toronto. Together, the three mixes document Fred’s evolving USB project city by city in Spatial Audio.
