Evanescence Release Orchestral Version of “Bring Me To Life” Off New Album ‘Synthesis’

Evanescence has turned their iconic rock anthem “Bring Me To Life” into an incredible orchestral version.

The orchestral version of “Bring Me To Life” is set to appear on the group’s forthcoming album, Synthesis, which features orchestral reworkings of their music. Amy Lee had this to say about “Bring Me To Life”:

‘Bring Me To Life’ is new to me again after 15 years. It’s difficult to explain how good that makes me feel. Having the chance to incorporate things I’ve heard in my head throughout that long period of time, nuances from the way I sing it live, just pouring the weight and perspective of the life I’ve lived now back into that root–it’s pure satisfaction.

Evanescence is currently in the studio finishing the new album through August with producers Will Hunt and orchestra arranger and composer David Campbell. In addition to the reimagined catalog songs, the forthcoming SYNTHESIS album will feature two new EVANESCENCE songs.
