‘De Vuelta a Casa (The Way Home)’ Celebrates Puebla at L.A. Premiere

The city of stars shined brighter during the premiere of Darius Wilhere‘s new film, De Vuelta a Casa (The Way Home), a film that celebrates the beauty of Puebla.

We spoke to Wilhere about the film, he talked about the message, filming in Puebla, the culture, and much more.

The film stars Cayetano Arámburo (Club de Cuervos, Quién mató a Sara), Eugenio Montesoro (La Casa de las Flores, Hoy Voy a Cambiar), Renata Monterola (El Señor de los Cielos, La Reina Soy Yo), Sergio Rogalto (No Fue Mi Culpa, The Romanoffs), Javier Santa Rita (Club de Cuervos, Santos Peregrinos), and Harding Junior (I Carry You With Me, El Secreto de Selena)

The Way Home tells the story of Ricardo, a young and successful business executive who abandoned his home in Puebla, Mexico in search of fortune in The Big Apple. When Ricardo is called to return home upon his grandfather’s passing, he travels to Puebla to spread his grandfather’s ashes across the state at all the places the two visited during Ricardo’s childhood. Along the way, Ricardo begins to realize the real core values of life and how precious time with our loved ones truly is.
