Starman was the last living member who, in his final breath, told Pat Dugan to find someone worthy of the cosmic staff to keep the JSA legacy alive. After 10 years, Courtney Whitmore finds and uses the cosmic staff, becoming Stargirl. From then on, Stargirl works with her fellow high school students to recreate the JSA. This enables the DC universe to continue the JSA and create future generations of superhero fans.
