The Conga Room, a beloved establishment for Latin entertainment in Los Angeles, will honor Renée Victor, the renowned actor, dancer, singer, and performer, with a Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of her exceptional contributions to the arts industry and the community.

Victor said:

I am honored to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award from a place very close to my heart, The Conga Room.

The Conga Room has been a second home for me and many others to share our love of Latin music and deepen our cultural ties with each other. Performing at Conga has allowed me to reach my fans directly and I’ll be forever grateful.

The award will be presented to her by Jose Luis Valenzuela (Artistic Director of the Latino Theater Company and The Los Angeles Theatre Center) at the star-studded Conga Room Farewell Celebration hosted by actor and co-investor Jimmy Smits, and comedian/actor and co-investor Paul Rodriguez on Wednesday, March 27 at the iconic venue.

Victor has showcased her talents on public radio, KCRW, for the prestigious Los Angeles Theater Classics “The Play’s The Thing.”
