Grammy Award-nominee, Christian Nodal sold-out YouTube Theater at Hollywood Park on Friday, December 3rd.
Nodal brought his record-breaking Botella Tras Botella tour with special guest Gera MX, Nodal kicked off his two-hour set with “Se Me Olvidó.” He also performed some of his biggest hits including “Botella Tras Botella,” “AYAYAY!,” “Nace Un Borracho,” “Aquí Abajo,” “No Te Contaron Mal,” and a couple of covers from Vicente Fernandez “Aca Entre Nos,” Luis Enrique “Yo No Se Mañana,” etc.
Throughout the night Nodal took moments to thank the sold-out crowd, at one point he seemed to get emotional which prompted the crowd to get up on their feet. The night’s big surprise was when he invited rap duo Akwid and the trio performed “Mi Gusto Es.”
To help celebrate a SOLD-OUT show, Nodal was presented with a giant sold-out ticket presented by YouTube Theater’s Adolfo Romero and Live Nation’s Emily Simonitsch, to commemorate the milestone.
The tour is named after Nodal’s Global viral hit “Botella Tras Botella” which debuted at #1 on Spotify’s global chart and is the highest chart position for a song by a Mexican Artist. It has over 146M streams on YouTube alone and is the first Regional Mexican title to enter the Billboard Hot 100 in its almost 63-year history.
