Catherine Zeta-Jones To Receive Anne Douglas Award at Legacy Of Vision GALA

The Los Angeles Mission Legacy of Vision Gala is being planned for the evening of Thursday November 9th at the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.  This year’s event will celebrate the Anne Douglas Center for Women’s 25 years of service to the homeless in Los Angeles through programs designed to restore lost lives.

This year’s honoree will be multiple award-winning actress Catherine Zeta-Jones.  (She has won the Academy Award, the SAG Award, a BAFTA, the Tony Award and numerous other acting accolades.).

The Anne Douglas Award for exemplary community service is presented on behalf of Anne Douglas, wife of actor Kirk Douglas, the Mission’s single largest donor. Top Chef winner Michael Voltaggio will receive the Legacy of Vision Award at the Mission’s gala.  He is the owner of the popular new restaurant ink.well.  Michaela Pereira, anchor, and host of the daily program Michaela on HLN will MC the event.  Music will be provided by country music star Adam Craig.

The Mission has served Skid Row since 1936 providing food, clothing, and shelter to the homeless community.  The gala celebrates the organization’s years of life-changing success by raising funds for continuing this vital work.
