Colombian icon Carlos Vives was announced as a special guest for this Christmas season with Disney+.
They are set to bring the magic of Madrigal family with an unprecedented concert, “ENCANTO at the Hollywood Bowl,” which will be recorded on November 11 & 12 at the Hollywood Bowl. The iconic venue will be transformed into the magical house of the successful movie “Encanto” with the entire cast of actors who gave life to the characters with their voices. “Encanto at the Hollywood Bowl” will be available on Disney+ this coming December 28.
The concert is produced by Fulwell 73 Productions, Live Nation-Hewitt Silva and Disney Concerts, together with AMP Worldwide, the team behind several very acclaimed live broadcast from the Hollywood Bowl, and production design from Misty Buckley, who has worked on producing major events like the Coldplay half-time show at the Super Bowl, among others. With a spectacular orchestra of 80 people, 50 dancers, and special effects out of this world, the concert will feature the stellar participation of the icon, multiple GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY winner Carlos Vives, as well as other artists including Colombian Andrés Cepeda.
