Carin León Dominates ‘Premios Juventud’ with Seven Nominations

Regional Mexican singer Carin León received 7 nominations for the prestigious Premios Juventud in the categories of ‘Premios Juventud Male Artist’, ‘Male Artist On The Rise’, ‘My Favorite Streaming Artist’, ‘Best Song For My Ex’, ‘Best Regional Mexican Song’, ‘Best Regional Mexican Collaboration’ and ‘Best Regional Mexican Fusion’.

With these seven nominations, León became one of the most nominated artists for this ceremony along with other artists such as Bud Bunny, Rosalia, Grupo Frontera, Peso Pluma, Shakira, Karol G and Rauw Alejandro, among others. The Sonora, Mexico-born singer-songwriter has positioned himself as one of the most important artists not only in his regional Mexican genre, but also in the preference of the younger generations.

Less than a month ago, León became the only Latin and Regional Mexican artist who reached the top 10 in global sales and Spotify in the USA with his album Colmillo de Leche. The album includes collaborations with internationally renowned artists such as Camilo with “Ni Me Debes Ni Te Debo”, Pablo Alborán with “Piedra Papel” and Angela Aguilar with “Vete Yendo”.
