ViX, the world’s leading Spanish-language streaming service, announced that its new original series, CUALQUIER PARECIDO (Any Resemblance), premieres on August 25 on the service’s premium plan. The comedy stars Camila Sodi (“Rubí”, “Sin huellas” [No Traces], “Enfermo amor” [Sick Love], “Luis Miguel: la serie”), who is also the creator and executive producer of the series, and actor and singer-songwriter Jencarlos Canela (“Pasión prohibida” [Forbidden Love], “Gran hotel”, “Telenovela”) as a special guest.
The cast also includes Antonio Gaona, Claudette Maille, Valeria Vera, Danny Perea, and Danae Reynaud.
CUALQUIER PARECIDO tells the story of Carlota, who, after separating from the person she thought was the love of her life, discovers that the saying “happily ever after” is not always true, but that doesn’t mean she can’t be happy.
