AT&T Film Awards celebrate Latino Storytellers

AT&T announced the winners of their annual AT&T Film Awards, a national competition for young, aspiring filmmakers. These awards seek to discover and nurture undiscovered filmmakers who want their voices heard.

This year’s list of winners includes a diverse group of filmmakers. The winner in the Best Spanish Language Short Film was college student, Miguel J. Soliman, whose touching film speaks to a bond formed between two voice actors.  His 1-minute short film, “Desde el Principio,” showcases how powerful short films can truly be. Watch it, below.

 

Francisco Infante’s film “Her Name Was” was named one of the Best Short Films – Shot on Mobile. The film shared a heartfelt and funny attempt at reliving past loves. Watch it, below.
