NBC’s hit series, Superstore is closing its doors with a one-hour series finale on Thursday, March 25. America Ferrera is confirmed to reunite with the cast once more as a final farewell to the series.
Superstore‘s 100th episode, which aired last November, doubled as Ferrera’s swan song. The installment also marked the conscious uncoupling of Amy and Jonah, who realized they wanted different things: Jonah was ready to get married (and had secretly taken one of Amy’s rings to determine the right size for an engagement band), while Amy wasn’t ready to fully commit, still haunted by what she gave up when she agreed to marry Adam all those years ago. Alas, Amy moved to California without Jonah.
How will it all end? March 25th we will find out, we do know that fan-favorite character Cheyenne played by Nichole Sakura is getting her very own spin-off series alongside her man Bo played by Johnny Pemberton. The series premiere date is yet to be announced, but we do know that the series is reportedly titled Bo & Cheyenne, it’ll revolve around the hardworking hot-trash couple as they “balance their big dreams with the harsh realities of being a blue-collar family in America.”
