Acclaimed Puerto Rican artist Álvaro Díaz released the music video for “Pienso En Ti,” the focus track off his latest album OMAKASE.
“PIENSO EN TI.,” is a more tropical-leaning track with elements of cumbia, and the final song Díaz created with the late Milkman, the celebrated producer and creative director, was Díaz’s long-time collaborator. Díaz had this to say:
I consider Milkman to be a genius, and he’s also my brother. I had always wanted him to produce an album for me, and I used to ask him for beats, but he never wanted to give them to me… until I finally convinced him, and together we created this piece.
The music video, which was directed by Pampa and Kato, was filmed in Mexico City and pays homage to a renowned work of art by Milkman, which is immortalized on screen.
