Alaina Castillo Drops Infectious Anthem, “call me when ur lonely”

Mexican-American songstress, Alaina Castillo, releases new single + video “call me when ur lonely” via Chosen People/AWAL.

The record, which was previewed during Alaina‘s Coachella performance this year, was produced by longtime collaborator and Grammy-nominated producer, RØMANS (Ella Mai, Khalid, Disclosure, etc.). The haunting track continues Alaina’s sad girl era as she brings the audience into a loss she seeks to be reunited with. Alaina said about the track:

‘call me when ur lonely’ is a song about missing someone and the way things used to be. So much that you’re willing to do anything just to hear their voice or see their face one more time

The video was directed by Jake Johnston (Maggie Lindemann, LØLØ, With Confidence, Sofia Carson) and shot in Los Angeles, CA. Set in a prison-like bedroom that represents Alaina’s mind, thoughts, and longing to escape into a dreamscape world, she works to build the futuristic telephone that will reunite her to her lost loved one.
