Yeison Jiménez, the greatest exponent of the regional Colombian genre, continues cultivating hits in his music career, and this time, he decided to do it with Pasabordo to release “Hasta La Madre,” a catchy party song that tells the story of a person unfortunate in love, ready to drink and enjoy life.
“Hasta La Madre” fuses the melodies of the regional genre with the contemporary popular sounds that Pasabordo, the group formed by Gabo and Jhonatan, introduces. This new song forms part of an album of collaborations that Yeison Jiménez is preparing and that will be released in the coming months.
The music video for “Hasta La Madre” was filmed at Rancho Los Carnales in Copacabana, Antioquia, Colombia, and produced by Central de Ideas. The audiovisual recreates the scene of some friends at a party, and booze is involved, drinking in order to drown their sorrows and staying hasta la madre, a colloquial phrase that describes reaching the limit.
