William Shatner to Host FOX’s Celebrity Reality Competition Series, “Stars on Mars”

Forget the red carpet, celebrities are heading to the red planet in FOX’s all-new reality competition series, Stars On Mars.

Set to premiere on June 5th, the reality competition series will be hosted by the legend, William Shatner, who recently became the oldest man sent to space, serving as Mission Control. Shatner traveled to space, the celebrities will “travel to mars,” the Hollywood version of the red planet.

In the series we will see a group of celebrities prepare for take-off to the red planet, where they will live, eat, sleep, strategize, and bond with each other in the same space station.

During their stay, they will be faced with authentic conditions that simulate life on Mars, and they must use their brains and brawn – or maybe just their stellar social skills – to outlast the competition and claim the title of brightest star in the galaxy. The celebrities will compete in missions and will vote to eliminate one of their crewmates each week, sending them back to Earth.

Who will be the celebrities competing? That’s yet to be announced, but we’ll let you know as soon as they are announced.
