Madea is back.
Tyler Perry is ending Madea’s retirement early, she’ll Star in A Madea Homecoming, an all-new movie on Netflix set to premiere in 2022.
Perry will direct and write with Will Areu and Mark Swinton producing. No plot details are currently known, but we do know that Madea is back. In 2019 Perry announced that Madea would make her final appearance in A Madea Family Funeral, which made $75M at the global box office.
A Madea Homecoming continues Perry’s work with Netflix following last year’s release of A Fall From Grace which was watched by 39M households in its first month. If y’all haven’t watched A Fall From Grace, you should, trust us.
