Global pop artist, songwriter and creative force Troye Sivan ushers in a new era with the release of “She’s the Best,” the title track from the GRAMMY®-nominated artist’s fourth studio album, She’s the Best, releasing October 9th, 2026.
The track is written by Troye Sivan, Leland, George Daniel, Jack Antonoff, Styalz Fuego, and produced by George Daniel, Jack Antonoff, Styalz Fuego and Sivan.
“She’s the Best” opens with spoken verses. Guitars, strings and synths gather underneath, before the song breaks open into euphoria. It is organic and alive, cool and understated, cheeky, and underneath it all, unguardedly tender. It is both a celebration and a love letter, honoring the women – especially trans women – along with the drag queens, feminine-presenting people and the feminine spirit that has shaped his life, creativity and sense of self.
Accompanying the song is yet another evocative visual from Sivan, reteaming with Director Gordon von Steiner following their celebrated collaborations on “One of Your Girls,” “Got Me Started” and “Rush”, with the latter two both earning GRAMMY®-nominations.
Inspired by the spirit of 1980s queer New York, the film juxtaposes hyper-feminine iconography with glamour, sensuality and fluid expressions of femininity, all framed through an unmistakably editorial, high-fashion lens. In a moment destined for pop culture canon, blessing the video is none other than Nicole Kidman in a cinematic appearance finding one of Australia’s most celebrated icons stepping into Sivan’s world.
The release also marks the announcement of Sivan’s anticipated fourth studio album, She’s the Best. An immersive project that is meant to be watched as much as listened to, the album explores desire, identity, joy, loneliness and queer belonging with remarkable emotional honesty. Rich in contradiction, it finds Sivan at his biggest and smallest, his most masculine and most feminine, his most connected and his most isolated – his most complete artistic statement to date.
