Rapper Token releases new track and video, “Toy Story,” via Never Too Different.
The video was directed by Ben Proulx & Token, and features Token looking very much like the character Sid from the film Toy Story. The video recreates scenes from the movie in highly specific detail, including Token’s character’s hair and braces, the toy figures, props, and interiors.
“Toy Story” is the follow-up to Token’s last album, Pink is Better, which was released in early 2022 and featured Benny the Butcher, Rico Nasty, JID, and more.
Additionally, Token has announced a headlining, North American tour, which will kick off on January 24, 2023, in Toronto and wraps in Phoenix, AZ on March 26th. Marco Plus, Ben Reilly, and Nana are support acts for the tour. See full dates below.
