It’s a new dawn (pun intended) for The Weeknd, the global superstar has released the music video for “Sacrifice” the new single off his latest album Dawn FM available now to stream on Apple Music.
Directed by the duo Cliqua, the video starts with a confused Weeknd finding the theoretical light at the end of the tunnel, as the voice of comedy legend Jim Carrey encourages him to “accept your fate with open arms” after being “in the dark for so long” — before he drops back into the darkness, struggling for air on the floor of a club. A group of hooded figures drags him out before he’s hooked up to a machine, what happens after? Watch the psychedelic video for “Sacrifice,” below!
