Christopher Street West Association (CSW), the 501(c)(3) nonprofit that organized the world’s first permitted LGBTQ+ parade, announced that CANDIACE (a/k/a Candiace Dillard Bassett) has joined the stellar lineup of performers for LA Pride 2026’s Pride Village following the official Parade taking place Sunday, June 14.
The Pride Village continues to serve as a free and open-to-the-public gathering space for celebration, community resources, local vendors, nonprofit organizations, and cultural expression.
CANDIACE is a multi-hyphenate talent, a singer, songwriter, actress, entrepreneur, and television personality, best known for her breakout role on The Real Housewives of Potomac and her appearance on season four of The Traitors.
A former Obama White House staffer and Miss United States 2013, she brings a distinct blend of intellect, artistry, and ambition to every endeavor. In 2021, she released her Billboard-charting R&B album Deep Space, with her second album slated for release this summer. Her latest single, “If Only,” is out now, alongside a remix featuring Tamar Braxton.
In addition to her music career, she has appeared in films for BET and Netflix and co-owns a growing portfolio of beauty and wellness businesses. Known for her signature wit and unfiltered candor, CANDIACE brings her full self to every platform she touches, including her latest venture, Undomesticated, her debut podcast with Audacy.
