Marissa Jack, aka The Golden Hippie, first emerged on the LA scene earlier this year with her channeling of the haunting choral styles of Florence Welch and pop sensibilities that have garnered her comparisons to Charli XCX.
After years behind the scenes flexing her songwriting prowess she joined Prince as a featured vocalist on“Art Official Cage,” the lead track off Prince’s newly released album, Art Official Age. She spent a Spring joining him on his Hit and Run tour, before releasing her breakout debut track, “Smoke Signals.”
