“Otra Vez” was produced by Prince Royce and D’Lesly “Dice” Lora and written by Prince Royce, D’Lesly “Dice” Lora, Juan Ignacio Baez, Salim Asencio, Robinson Hernandez, and Shanelli Rojas. The music video shot in Miami by director Gustavo “GUS” Camacho of Mastermind Entertainment, represents a vicious love cycle, metaphorically reflecting pain caused by past relationships with a dagger as well as the hope of falling in love again even if this means repeating the same mistake.
