Global Latin music idol MALUMA won the ‘Best Latin’ award last night and lit up the MTV European Music Awards stage alongside Tanzanian superstar Rayvanny with the first-ever live performance of their new single “MAMA TETEMA”.

Maluma and Rayvanny sang across two interconnected stages, joined by a cast of female dancers, special rain effects, and warm, neon-colored lights. Both artists danced energetically to the track that blends two genres and two different cultures, proving once again that music is universal and no matter the language, the audience connected with the beat of “Mama Tetema”.

As is always expected when it comes to the artist, his appearance also included Haute Couture and Maluma‘s taste for fashion. On the red carpet, the Colombian superstar wore a  one-of-a-kind black outfit with silver and gold details designed by Roberto Cavalli alongside Maluma and his stylist Ugo Mozie. For the performance, he wore a magenta Versace ensemble co-designed by Maluma and his stylist.
