Cumbia legends, Los Ángeles Azules have teamed up with singer and composer Nicki Nicole on new track, “Otra Noche” to celebrate their 40th anniversary.
The single was composed by Nicki Nicole herself, along with Richi López and Édgar Barrera, and was produced by Rodolfo Lugo and Jorge Mejía. The song is accompanied by an official video that was recorded in Mexico City under the direction of Fausto Terán. The video depicts a big party taking place in a classic pulquería.
Los Angeles Azules are considered the greatest ambassadors of cumbia worldwide. Their most recent album, De Buenos Aires Para el Mundo, debuted at #8 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Top Albums list. It’s the twelfth album for the group to enter the Top 10 of this prestigious list. Currently, the album’s videos exceed 450 million views on YouTube.
