NYC-based pop artist-on-the-rise, Josey Greenwell has released his new single, “Cowboy,” off of his full-length album due out later this year, City Games.
Greenwell had this to say about the song:
This is the track I’m most excited about for this entire forthcoming album. It represents such a revelation of so many things for me. Attitude, writing rhythms, authenticity – things I shied away from in the past. I co-wrote this with my new producer, Daneon, and we had a blast pullinga references from my previous Nashville writing days and lacing them with modern production. For me, it’s the most transportive song on the album and really takes me to the middle of a night out.
