Lila Downs releases new single “Solita Solita” a cumbia written by Lila and Paul Cohen and produced by Orlando Aispuro, Downs shares with us a message of female empowerment, bravery, and self-love.
Having once again the state of Sonora as the location, specifically the city of Hermosilla in the iconic Arias house, she visually shows us a celebration with representative cholo dances of cumbia from the northern Mexico. Besides wearing suits and makeup highlighting the culture of the seris women.
Experimenting with colors and choreographies where the ensemble Fugite takes part with the dancers Mara Paola Rodríguez Domínguez, Edith Azeneth Gordiano Alfano, Angélica Valeria Vázquez Mijares, Dafne Yulissa Reyes Lumbreras and the choreographer Iván Monsiváis.
