L.A. Comic-Con Announces Limited Passes Now On Sale

Get ready for the 2020 L.A. Comic-Con set to take place December 11 – 13, keep in mind that with the current state of things happening, the dates could change or LACC could be pushed to 2021.

With that being said,  Los Angeles Comic Con, L.A.’s biggest comics, gaming, sci-fi, horror, and pop culture event, has announced that the FIRST BLOCK of approximately 4,500 tickets are now on sale for the convention. Well-known for memorable celebrity panels, autograph signings, activations, comics, cosplay, shopping and pop culture fanfare, organizers for L.A. Comic Con 2020 have adapted the same enjoyable experiences to bring them to fans in a new, COVID-conscious way.

Chris DeMoulin CEO of Comikaze Entertainment, L.A. Comic Con’s parent company, said:

Everyone at L.A. Comic Con has been working for six months to answer ONE QUESTION – Can we make enough changes and adjustments to how we put on LA’s favorite Con to ensure that it is not just FUN, but it is also SAFE for attendees, vendors, talent and staff despite the challenges of living with COVID-19.

With input from LA County Department of Public Health (LADPH)and the Mayor’s Office, in partnership with the LA Convention Center, we have a great plan.  If the CV-19 metrics and trends allow us to have this event in December, our surveys say that all the fans, exhibitors and talent will be thrilled to end 2020 on an up note.  If LADPH determines that we can’t do so safely, then we’ll reschedule for 2021.

L.A. Comic Con organizers are being extra cautious and limiting in-person attendance to 20-25% capacity with expanded Con space at the convention center. The main stage has been moved to the West Hall, which can hold up to 3,000 WITH social distancing guidelines and more. The West and Petree Halls were added to bring the total space to over 850,000 square feet indoors so events can spread out safely. There will be an additional 400,000 square feet of space both inside and outside to safely manage lines with social distancing, with triple the number of entrances with magnetometers for security checks to reduce lines. Fans will have enough room to maintain a minimum of 6 feet between all guests (outside their own party). Everyone will be required to wear a face mask and all cleaning standards from LA County and Centers for Disease Control (CDC) will be followed before, in between and after all sessions.
