It was a massive dance party last Friday and Saturday (July 31st & August 1st) night when latin pop superstar, Juanes delivered not one but two SOLD-OUT shows at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
Before Juanes hit the stage, singer-songwriter Ximena Sariñana served as the opening act and she was spectacular. She had me dancing in my seat from start to finish. She performed fan favorite tracks and new tracks off her latest album, No Todo lo Puedes Dar. She of course performed my latest music obsession, “Sin Ti No Puede Estar Tan Mal” which is featured on her latest album. Click here to purchase it on iTunes.
The man of the night, Juanes kicked-off his set at exactly 9 pm with “Mil Pedazos” off his album Loco de Amor. It was a night of non-stop rocking out, sing alongs and dancing. Juanes satisfied the L.A. crowd with a setlist full of hit singles and future hit singles, including “A Dios Le Pido,” “Es Por Ti,” “La Camisa Negra,” “Fotografia,” “Me Enamora,” “La Luz,” “Una Flor,” “Yerbatero,” “Volverte A Ver,” and many more. As a surprise Juanes brought out Ozomotli to perform hit anthem “La Camisa Negra.”
I also have to mention that his wife and kids were literally sitting right in front of me and they we’re being beyond adorable dancing and singing along to every song. It melted my heart, it was a non-stop love fest from his family and fans.
If you ever get the opportunity to see Juanes live, DO IT, go see him. Juanes knows how to put on a show, he is phenomenal live. I give his “Loco de Amor Tour” an A.
