Joy Huerta Receives The Recognition ‘Leading Ladies of Entertainment’ By the Latin Recording Academy

The Latin Recording Academy recognized Joy Huerta for her career as a singer-songwriter, composer, musician and activist, as one of the five women of great social conscience and outstanding in the arts and entertainment.

Joy received the acknowledgment from the president and CEO of The Latin Recording Academy, Gabriel Abaroa.

Along with Joy were also honored as Leading Ladies of Entertainment:

  • Tatiana Bilbao, architect
  • Martha Debayle, radio host
  • Alondra de la Parra, musical conductor
  • María Soumaya Slim Domit, philanthropist and business woman

The Academy began this recognition some years ago identifying Latin women with impact on the Hispanic society in the United States. This year, for the first time, the event took place in Mexico.
