Award-winning director, Jorge Xolalpa has been tapped to direct Mexican Pop Star Leyo‘s next music video for his next single “Paying For Love” – which confirms the rumors. Back on 7/16 Jorge and Leyo were spotted having dinner in Long Beach. At first, we thought this had to do with a possible film collaboration, but sources close to the production confirm to us that it was for Leyo’s upcoming music video.
This is the first collaboration between Xolalpa and Leyo. This also highlights a landmark point in Xolalpa’s career as the award-winning director ventures into the world of music. Which makes us all wonder. What is Xolalpa cooking? What can we expect? As of now, we can confirm that “Paying “For Love” is a definite summer hit. Inspired by a 70’s feel with a 90’s taste and modern dance genre. You can expect to hear it all summer long.
Mighty Aphrodite Pictures, Xolalpa’s production company will be serving as the production company alongside AM Entertainment and Orchard MX Sony.
“Paying For Love” is scheduled to be released on 7/16 with a video release on 7/23.
